 The Bunker Shot

This is one of the least practiced shots in golf as well as one that most golfers dread. Often, this is the case due to the lack of available golf facilities in the area providing the opportunity for customers to practice this shot. Here at The Scottish Highlands, we offer two, well-maintained, bunkers for just this reason. Come practice a wide range of bunker shots of varying difficulties with us. If you require assistance with your shot technique, our qualified instructors can help.

Approach and Chip Shots

This is a great place to focus on the shorter shots that all golfers struggle with. From the mid-iron bump-and-run to the open-faced lob shots you see on TV, you will be able to practice approach shots ranging from 10 to 90 yards. Check out our Golf Tips section of our BLOG PAGE with help on technique and information on drills to improve in this area.

Putting

Putting often makes up as much as 40% percent of a golfer’s score. When added to the other short game shots made over the course of a round, it can be said that 60% of the game is played within 90 yards of the pin. Though the sought-after 300 yard drive is a golfer’s dream, it is putting that wins the day out on the course. The Range at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands offers a complete putting green of varying topography for practicing every type of putt.
