Golf Tips Building Balance in your Golf Swing.
Start by shifting more of your weight onto the balls of your feet in your “set up.” As you move through your swing (first working on a ¼ to ½ length swing) focus on maintaining pressure on the balls of your feet. Avoid moving too much weight towards the toes or heels as you swing. This simple practice can help posture and swing path and most importantly help with better impact.
The use of balance devices that you stand on such as ½ foam rollers, rotation disks or rubber air filled disk may also be helpful. You may have seen many of these items in health clubs or used for physical therapy. They assist in working your core muscles to increase strength and stability. We offer these items for use during golf instruction sessions at the Practice Range.
